Watch educational videos, play a variety of online games, and browse resources. Take a deep dive into learning about your favorite animal or explore the kid's favorite "Weird But True" section!

PBS Kids

Offers a monthly newsletter, fun apps to play online or download, or watch one of their fun episodes like Wild Krats or Super Why?

Fun Brain

Browse content by grade or skill level, and offers learning fun in the subjects of reading and math. Has educational games, videos, and a featured "pre-K and kindergarten playground".

ABCya

All games, all the time! Search gaming and app content by learning subject or by grade level. They now offer a cool new feature where kiddos can learn in Spanish.

Inside Problem Solving

Great math resource by the UT Austin Dana Center offering non-routine math word problems designed to promote problem-solving. Search by grade level or complexity, and print and go! You can also read the explanations or watch the support videos.

You Cubed

Informational site created by Stanford Graduate School of Education. Offers all kinds of resources at different grade levels and are in short single sessions or a learning series. Math lessons for all levels of math learners.

Learning Without Tears

If you have an elementary-aged student, you've probably heard of 'Handwriting Without Tears', but they also offer keyboarding, pre-K interactive tools, and have free trials available.

Zoo Tours

No lines, no crowds, and free virtual visits to zoos all over the country. Informational videos and live webcams offer hours of free learning!

FarmFood 360

Teach kiddos the much-needed connections to what they consume. This site is all about videos and virtual cams placed on farms and greenhouses all around Canada where students can learn more about agriculture and farming.

Access Mars

A website dedicated to the virtual webcam on the surface of Mars! Views taken from the NASA Curiosity Rover footage.

Monterey Bay Aquarium

A page dedicated to the various live cams of the Monterey Bay Aquarium! View in live time a variety of living things.

Climate Kids

An interactive website that contains a wide range of information, activities, multimedia content, and DIY projects about climate climate change. Check out the Climate Time Machine! PBS Playground Reading Games

Really geared for the emergent and young, developing reader. There are over 70 engaging games based on the popular PBS Kids shows. These online games incorporate a rewards-based system that make learning to read fun and interactive.

Code.org

fantastic platform for kids to explore the world of computer science in a fun and engaging way. Code starts with fundamental principles and gradually moves on to more advanced concepts like algorithms, nested loops, and conditionals.

Scratch.com

Scratch is a free, powerful tool that allows kiddos to unleash their creativity. One of Scratch’s standout features is its kid-friendly community. Kiddos are able to post their inventive creations on the Scratch platform for others to view, interact with, and in some instances, improve upon.

Storyline Online

One of my favorites in the classroom! Storyline Online brings favorite picture books to life for kiddos with music and engaging animated illustrations, which enhance their storytelling experience. Prominent American actors narrate beloved picture books in streaming videos featured on this website, make the reading experience interactive and educational.

Reading Bear

Reading Bear is particularly valuable for parents seeking an English/language arts comprehensive tool. It helps young children build a solid foundation in reading by offering a clear, step-by-step phonetic approach that simplifies the reading learning process.

Mission US

Mission U.S. is an exceptional online resource designed for grades 5-8 that brings U.S. history to life through immersive, interactive adventures.

Art for Kids Hub

Another classroom favorite! This website is delightful and easy to use. Art for Kids Hub features a wide array of art lessons, including painting, sculpture, and drawing. The creator, Rob, presents the lessons through engaging instructional videos in which he completes projects alongside his children, with the goal of making art fun for kids of all ages.

Starfall Education

This is a rare, completely ad-free kids' website! Starfall offers free games in math, language arts, and more. It’s primarily for kids in pre-K - 3rd grade.
